How to use it

Scoop a small amount in the palm of your hands and rub hands together to warm up and melt then apply everywhere - body, face, feet, and hands.

Face: Raw Shea butter is rich so use it on dry patches on your face or has a 10-15mins face mask or a DIY overnight mask depending on your skin type. Use to treat chapped lips and an aftersun treatment.

Body: All over body butter - great for really dry areas especially hands, feet, elbow. Has been known to help skin conditions like eczema. Also, use it as a base to make your own creations.

I have a nut allergy- can I use raw Shea butter?

We recommend not to use Shea butter if you have a nut allergy as Shea Butter is made from Shea nuts.

What is the difference between Ivory and Gold Shea Butter?

At LIHA Beauty we offer two types of vegan raw Shea butter: Ivory and Gold. Both our Shea butters are unrefined. The difference in colour is attributed to the region in which the Shea butter was extracted and can also be based on the season and production methods. The same amazing skin health properties remain, regardless of the colour, however, depending on your personal usage of the butters you may prefer one over the other. Both are rich in Vitamins A and E and work wonders for multipurpose moisture.

Ivory Shea butter is from Ghana and can be crumbly in texture. It has a nutty vanilla scent, it's perfect butter for keeping small areas such as the lips, hands and feet moisturised on the go.

Gold Shea butter is from Nigeria and has a more smoky, earthy smell remnant from the roasting process of the Shea fruit and waxy in texture. It can be seamlessly smoothed into larger areas of the body as well as being the quintessential weapon against dry, flaky and itchy scalps.

They are both really hydrating and nourishing but we would say the Gold Shea butter is slightly more moisturising and have had amazing reviews for treating eczema and other skin conditions.

I have Psoriasis -can I use Shea Butter?

Psoriasis sufferers are advised to patch test before use as Shea butter encourages the regeneration of skin cells. People with psoriasis have an increased production of skin cells resulting in the build-up which is what is associated with psoriasis. Some people have found it helpful for the condition.

Does raw Shea butter work well for eczema?

Raw Shea butter is super Rich in Vitamins A, E and F Shea butter is an all natural treatment for eczema that can help to reduce flare ups, minimise scarring and give relief from itchy, skin.

Are your products suitable for during pregnancy and/or nursing?

As most women prefer to use unscented products during this time, our Shea butter is a customer favourite to keep stretch marks at bay during pregnancy and as a nipple balm during nursing. It even works wonders as a nappy balm!

I have tried the ivory Shea Butter before and loved it so much I brought the Luxury Layers Set and I was kindly sent the Mini Gold Shea Butter as a free gift for spending over £55.00. I will definitely purchase the Gold Shea Butter on my next order, it's so smooth and almost like a creamy texture. I recently went on holiday and took this Mini Gold Shea butter on the plane with me because I always get really bad dry skin and lips when flying, it's the PERFECT travel product. And as a plus, my husband had an eczema breakout due to the sun on our holiday, this Mini Gold Shea butter allowed him to still enjoy his holiday! We applied the product to the area before bed and the next morning there was already such a massive improvement. Would highly recommend this product.

Love candles 🕯️ but arrived broken

Hello,
I was really excited to receive my package but unfortunately received the box of candles shattered inside. I took a photo and submitted the damage, and received a message that they were sorry this happened, however in order to receive another box of candles, I would have to wait until I use my promo code they gave me to place another order, then I would receive the candles again. I did not truly feel this was the best option for me especially because they were shipped from UK and I waited a while to receive my package, however it does guarantee that a customer must place another order in order to receive the candles again, which feels a bit unfair. I would think that you would promptly send another box without having to place another order because this is good customer service, and what brands should do if the package arrives damaged. It may be beneficial to pack these differently that they were packed in such a small box, a larger padded box would prevent this from happening especially when shipped over seas. Unfortunately, even though I truly like what I ordered and find it something I would like to keep in my routine, I may not order again due to the decision that I must place another order first, and the time frame for shipping to US. Hope this helps for other customers experiencing the same situation.
This was my first purchase, and it left a bit of a disappointing resolution for me.

Double cleansing

I’ve started using this as the first step in my double cleanse and I love it. I used to think my combination skin couldn’t handle a cleanser like this but it cleans my skin and removes makeup etc without stripping the skin or leaving it feeling oily or clogging pores.
