the story of
LIHA
Founded by best friends Abi and Liha, LIHA Beauty is shifting beauty culture by empowering consumers with knowledge of African botany and English aromatherapy, taking inspiration from their Yoruba and British heritage.
Our products are, like us, a mixture of natural African roots and a quintessentially British attitude.
Blending Abi’s Yoruba roots and access to rare ingredients from trips back home with Liha’s knowledge of aromatherapy passed down from her mother, they started making products in their kitchens and have grown to be stocked internationally in retailers such as Thirteen Lune and Sephora UK.
In Yoruba culture, the concept of Asé is linked to communion with yourself and your personal energy, similar to the Eastern concept of Prana or Chi. All of our products are designed to enrich your life with a daily ritual of attuning to the symphony of your body and getting your energy, or Asé, where it needs to be, something our ancestors were truly passionate about.
We embrace the healing alchemy of nature. Our ingredients and products are 100% cruelty-free and untouched by harmful petrochemicals or unsafe toxins.
Hyper-functional products target multiple concerns for a streamlined routine.
This is LIHA.

Responsible sourcing & the future
We craft natural products of unparalleled quality and efficacy.
It is our mission to revolutionise the traditionally harmful trade routes from West Africa - As LIHA continues to flourish, we are committed to empowering our Shea cooperatives and communities to prosper alongside us.
Our dedication to sustainability is evident in our use of premium, recyclable materials such as glass, paper, and aluminum.
Constantly seeking innovation, we introduced a revolutionary material, Vivomer, for our cleanser spatula. Composed of naturally abundant microorganisms, Vivomer is biodegradable, compostable, and eco-friendly, breaking down without emitting greenhouse gases or leaving microplastics. In home compost, it decomposes within 52 weeks and in general waste, within three years.
We eagerly anticipate incorporating this material into more of our packaging. Each of our products is meticulously handcrafted in the UK, embodying our commitment to excellence and sustainability.
