HAPPY COSY SEASON, BLACK HISTORY MONTH & HALLOWEEN!!!
It’s that time! This is our busiest time of year – silly season has officially begun, and we’re looking booked and busy until the end of the year.
Downtime and relaxation are extra important when work life gets hectic. Nourishing body and mind for balance and being mindful of what both are ingesting. Remember to do something extra special for yourself this October. The full moon in Aries on the 17th is the perfect opportunity to put yourself at the top of your to-do list. Here’s what we’re getting into this month:
WATCHING:
Something about this time of year just lends itself to cosy vibes, top-tier edibles, candles, and animation.
Tales from the Tour Bus Season 2: This whole season is dedicated to legends of Funk, including Prince, James Brown, and of course, Miss Betty Davis (Liha's favourite episode).
READING:
A Thousand Threads by Neneh Cherry – In this beautiful and deeply personal memoir, Cherry reflects on the collaborations, the highs and lows, the friendships and loves, as well as the addictions and traumas that have shaped her as a woman and artist. We're off to get our copy signed at the Cheltenham Lit Fest:
EATING:
This time of year calls for thick-knit sweaters and hot pepper soup. We feel like we recommend this every year, but it’s valid! 805 in London has the best hot pepper soup outside of Nairaland, in our humble opinion.
AT LIHA:
Catch us out and about at the following events, where we are always up for a cup of tea and a kiki!
- OCTOBER 19th — Woodstock Artisan Collective, Woodstock Town Hall, 9am – 1pm
- OCTOBER 20th —Join us for a day of ultimate self-care. We will be in Liha’s hometown of Cheltenham leading a workshop – the perfect wind-down from the Lit Fest. Book here
FOR YOU:
We are still offering up to 70% off on our 15ml Orinrin Balm Cleanser. If you're missing our full-size Orinrin Balm, this can hold you over until it's back in stock.
