KIRSTIE: KEEP CRAFTING AND CARRY ON

KIRSTIE: KEEP CRAFTING AND CARRY ON

In case you can’t catch us on Keep Crafting and Carry, we have made a version of the recipe we made with Kirstie Allsopp just for you. We are all doing a lot more sitting than usual at the moment, and caffeine is amazing for blood circulation. The orange peel in the scrub gives it a beautiful fragrance and will contain traces of orange oil which is astringent and cleansing which makes this a fantastic scrub for your butt and thigh area to keep the skin smooth and fresh.

INGREDIENTS:

2 heaped tablespoons of used Coffee Grounds
2 heaped tablespoons Shea butter
1 tablespoon olive (or any natural oil of your choice)
1 tablespoon coconut (or any natural oil of your choice)
Finely blended orange peel from two oranges, OR lavender OR vanilla essence, OR rosemary or anything natural you have to hand that smells good and is natural!

METHOD:

Blend the raw Shea butter down with the back of a spoon until all the lumps are gone and you have a creamy texture.

Add the olive and coconut oil and mix together with a spoon then whisk for 5-10 minutes by hand for an arm workout and to make it really smooth and light.

Add in the Coffee Grounds and orange peel or other substitute and fold in with a spoon until all ingredients are blended.
